Ministry Overview
This ministry is designed for individuals seeking a community where they can explore their faith in Jesus, whether they are just beginning or looking to deepen their understanding. With this goal in mind, our focus will be on helping people start their journey and build a solid foundation in their relationship with Jesus. As highlighted in our devotional book, *At the Table with Jesus*, we aim to draw nearer to Him and strengthen our faith together.
I understand that this gathering space and opportunity may not resonate with everyone. For some, it might feel slow, while others may find it doesn't align with their personal preferences. However, our aim is to create a safe environment where we can learn about Jesus and connect with one another as imperfect individuals in need of His guidance. When we feel comfortable, we can openly ask and discuss challenging questions without fear of judgment.
Ministry Goals and Small Table Concept
The goals have already been established. We will grow in our faith in Jesus if we earnestly seek Him. Should this ministry evolve, may it follow the guidance of Jesus. For now, we will adopt a small table ministry approach. Here’s what that entails:
- Each gathering will include prayer and a devotion, providing an opportunity for questions. However, most discussions will take place around small tables rather than in a large group setting.
- Everyone is encouraged to bring their interests and gather around common activities. If you enjoy knitting, feel free to bring your supplies and knit together at a table. If board games are your passion, bring your favorite game and play with others who share similar interests. If you’re unsure, there will likely be others with shared hobbies; invite friends who might enjoy joining.
- Please bring food and drinks to share, but **NO ALCOHOL**.
- This phase is about exploration. I hope to understand where everyone is at and how we can move forward together.
